How to Use an Oil Primer for Makeup

1. Start with Clean Skin

• Wash your face with a gentle cleanser and pat dry.

• Optionally, apply toner or essence if you have one.

2. Apply Your Skincare (Optional but Recommended)

• Use your regular moisturizer or serum if needed.

• If you're using other oils in your skincare, be cautious not to overdo it when adding the oil primer.

3. Apply the Oil Primer

• Shake the bottle if instructed.

• Use 1–3 drops (a little goes a long way).

• Warm it between your fingertips.

• Gently press or pat it into your skin—focus on drier areas or where you want that glow.

4. Let It Absorb

• Wait 1–3 minutes so it fully sinks in and doesn’t disrupt your makeup.

5. Apply Your Foundation

• Use a brush, sponge, or fingers—whatever works best with your base product.

• Oil primers tend to pair well with cream and liquid foundations.

• Avoid using heavy powder foundations on top unless you're setting, as they might look cakey.

6. Finish Your Makeup as Usual

• Apply the rest of your makeup (concealer, blush, etc.).

• You can set lightly with powder, especially in the T-zone, if you want to tone down the shine.

• Best for: Dry to normal skin types.

• If you're oily, try applying it only to the high points of your face for glow (like a base for your highlighter).
